For forty years the hotel is managed by the Palanca family, whose roots are from Grottammare.
The Hotel Lo Squalo was built in 1975 by Emidio and Ennia who sold wine and prepared food: this is not just a case that, still nowadays, the restaurant offers typical dishes made by using ingredients from our territory. With a lot of efforts, the two built this building, that rises over an old cellar and a bocce field.
Grottammare has become, in the years, a really important bathing resort, one of the most appreciated by who comes in the Marche and in the Riviera delle Palme for their summer holidays. The Hotel Lo Squalo offers to its Guests the best comforts and the most modern services.
The Hotel is at the moment managed by Emidio and Ennia's son, Marco and by his wife Silvana, who keep working to make any stay an amazing holiday!
